Earl James and Associates comprises over 25 personnel including Licensed Surveyors, Engineering Surveyors, Survey Graduates, Survey Assistants, Draftsmen, Computer Operators and Administration staff to meet the demands of all existing and potential clients.

We have the resources to be able to mobilise 8 field parties using the latest technology including Trimble RTK GPS equipment, Total Stations, digital levels and electronic data recorders.
Appreciating that time is of the essence to our clients we have invested in our own GPS receivers and a Kawasaki 4WD quad bike in order to reduce field time and ultimately the cost of our services. 

Digital cameras, both video and still, are utilised on projects to provide images of project sites which are incorporated in our final presentations to clients. This service has resulted in cost savings by eliminating the need for our clients to make additional, costly site visits (particularly on remote sites).

The field parties are supported by computing and administration staff utilising  a range of software including:

• Autocad
• Microstation
• Wescom
• Mapinfo 

This software and our extensive computing facilities allow us to provide processed information and plans in the format preferred by our clients or their other consultants.
